Full Job Description

THIS POSITION IS FOR A MORNING SHIFT.

Major Responsibilities: Inspect the Incoming, In-Process and Final Inspection of all materials & parts Received, Manufactured and ready to ship in accordance with vendor Drawings, and Specifications.

Typical Duties:

• Inspection of Received, In-Process or Ready to Ship parts.
• Random In-Process Inspections
• Generate Material & Inspection Reports as required.
• Repackaging and/or Shipping of Parts as required.

Equipment used:

• Digital Drop Gage
• Micrometers
• Calipers
• Pin Gages
• Other Inspection Tools as needed

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of ANSI Dimensioning & Tolerances
• Knowledge of ASTM Standards
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Minimum 2 years Part Print Inspection experience
• CNC Machining: 5 years
• Good manual dexterity/Hand Eye Coordination
• Must be able to interpret drawings and dimensions
• Work with minimal supervision
• Machine G-Code knowledge
• Able to edit Machine Functions and/or G-code to achieve Nominal Dimensions.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain stationary (standing) for long periods of time and use hands to handle objects, delicate instruments and parts that vary in length and weight.
• May occasionally be required to lift up to 50 pounds.

Work Environment:

• Fast paced job shop.

Work shift starts at:

• 6:00 AM

Work shift ends at :

• 2:30 PM
