As the Quality Coordinator, you will assist in completing all internal audits throughout the agency and ensuring that compliance with applicable standards, regulations and guidance is fair, impartial, and useful. Responsible for conducting assigned audits and reporting information to the quality team.

Our Auditing department contributes to Goodwill’s success by providing leadership with timely, relevant and objective reporting for governance, risk and internal controls.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in coordinating and delivering training on Goodwill’s best practices for quality and consistency initiatives
  • Build relationships with all levels of management through continuous dialogue when providing assistance and reporting for governance, risk and internal controls
  • Assist in the development, refinement, implementation and maintenance of Goodwill’s best practices for quality and consistency initiatives, systems and processes
  • Remain in compliance with regulations, conduct audits, and examine the process for opportunities of improvement
  • Report findings and areas of improvement with the department leadership team
  • Comply with all of Goodwill’s policies, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) standards, and safety/security regulations

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One or more (1+) years of auditing experience, preferably ISO, Six Sigma, CARF, etc.
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite; Intermediate experience in Excel preferred
  • Ability to interact positively with both internal and external customers and partners
  • Ability to influence and obtain results

Preferred (not required):

  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency with the MS Office suite; Intermediate to advance Excel
  • Financial auditing experience
  • Black Belt, Six Sigma, ISO or related certifications
  • CPA, CIA, CISA and or CFI certifications

Working Environment Conditions:

  • Have the ability to travel to Goodwill of North Georgia locations as needed or required
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up to 25 lbs. with or without accommodations to transport and/or carry documents and/or various supplies related to audits, projects, improvements etc.
