Quality Inspector Job at BPA
Directly supervises hourly employees performing quality inspection duties:
50% - Reviews inspection and production schedules and manpower resources. Assigns and manages employees to maximize inspection objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements.
20% - Assures conformance to product specifications and workmanship standards.
20% - Participates in establishing and modifying inspection methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures.
5% - Maintains a variety of reports, records and inspection documentation to reflect schedules, performance and methods.
5% - Establishes training plans and assures appropriate training is delivered as required.
Skills:
Successful candidates for this position will have some combination of the following experience/knowledge:
- Prior leadership/supervisory experience.
- Experience with inspection equipment, CMM and attribute gauging.
- Inspections (in process, 1st article, receiving inspections).
- Experience with calibrations for calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify conformance to prints.
- ISO-9001, AS-9100.
- Reading of blueprints, data, manuals, QADs or other materials o determine specifications, procedures or instruments required for inspection.
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level.
Requires U.S. Citizenship.
Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,500.00 per year
