Formel D is hiring Quality Inspectors to work in our Sylacauga location. This position is full time, 12-hour shifts!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Examine manufactured products, primarily automotive parts to ensure the parts meet all standards of presentation and quality.
- Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria.
- Communicate sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.
- Complies with relevant local Health and Safety legislation.
- Supports Company Health and Safety Policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1-2 Years’ experience in Quality, Warehouse, Production or Manufacturing positions.
- Team player with ability to work in a high-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Ability to stand on feet for 8+ hours per day.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High School diploma or equivalent desired.
- Flexibility will be important
- The ability to understand/use electronic devices for data input will be important.
- Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise.
- Some duties performed outside in all weather conditions.
- This is a physically demanding position.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to work at heights up to 20-25 feet.
- Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
