POSITION SUMMARY:
Perform radiologic procedures according to established protocol.
What you will need:
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
What you will do:
- Greet patients and explain procedures. Answer questions and instruct patient during procedures.
- Position patients for examination. Prepare contrast media. If authorized, administer contrast for Fistulagram, IVP, and venograms.
- Perform radiologic examinations on patients.
- Perform darkroom procedures. Maintain office procedures and film file functions. Maintain supplies.
- Evaluate quality of product.
- Assist physicians during specialized procedures.
