Real Estate Development Analyst

Bode is a Seattle based vertically integrated multi-family development firm focused on creating housing that is affordable for everyone. With over 1,000 stabilized units under management, nearly 500 under construction, and about 1,500 in pre-development Bode is looking to build out their Development Team.

Qualifications

• Position requires a bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 0-3 years related work experience
• Must be a self-motivated and team-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communication skills and possess the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
• Must be detail-oriented with a familiarity and/or interest in real estate development
• Must be a resourceful problem solver with a strong commitment toward ensuring accuracy in their own work product and the work product of others

Responsibilities

• The RE Development Analyst will work with the development team to coordinate preconstruction and construction activities including land acquisition, entitlements, design, permitting coordination, construction oversight, pro forma analysis, and reporting
• Responsibilities include all stages of a development project, from acquisition to permanent financing, to help create and oversee the vision and execution of multifamily assets for the portfolio
• Initial responsibilities will be focused on the residential portfolio which includes multifamily, and land development projects currently in entitlement and construction
• Coordination with all agency and regulatory reviews requiring permitting and entitlement
• Review and interpret project plans and specifications
• Assisting with the construction process, including coordination, and correspondence
• Develop and assist with project pro forma, feasibility, market analysis, and budget from underwriting through project stabilization
• Coordination of specialized documents and presentations to municipalities, stakeholders, development and construction teams, property management, and management
• Assist in the requests and preparation of proposals, change orders, and consultant contracts
• Participate in financing procurement
• Execution of project vision as provided by the underlying development plan
• Coordinate with Property Management (in-house) to ensure an efficient transition to operations
• Schedule meetings, create agendas and prepare and disseminate minutes/notes from development, consultant, and project team meetings
• Serve as point of contact with the Development Team to facilitate inter-company communication and development project leads

• Participate in, and learn, the end-to-end development cycle; acquisition, permitting, financing, construction, and property management
• As a vertically integrated firm, Bode has inhouse design, engineering, architecture, drafting, property management, renovation, procurement and construction (general contractor with approximately 50 employees).
• The Real Estate Development Analyst would have the opportunity to participate in a rotational program between all inhouse Bode teams

• Work in multiple jurisdictions: currently Bode is developing in Seattle, Tacoma, Everett & Edgewood with planned expansion outside of Washington State.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Internship

Pay: $41,145.28 - $167,706.70 per year
