City of Marco Island Parks and Recreation Marco Island, FL 34145
Responsible for assisting and directing patrons/users of parks and recreation facilities. Room scheduling and reservation assistance and setup. Assists with plans and preparation for community special events, summer camp, and recreation programs for children, teens, and adults. Work is performed under general supervision with limited latitude in the use of initiative and independent judgment. Position exercises some judgment in accordance with well defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Full Time. Evening and some Weekend shifts are required.
High school diploma or GED; supplemented by one or more years' experience in recreation, public relations, or customer service; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. Must have a valid Florida driver's license. Candidate is subject to interview(s), medical testing (including drug screening), and a comprehensive background investigation.
