Job Summary:

Recruiter is responsible for the full spectrum of creating and executing hiring plan and strategy for identifying needs and screening candidates to closing successful hires. Oversee the daily activities of creating job postings, sourcing candidates, screening, recruiting, and onboarding talent. As a recruiter, you are responsible for managing the recruiter team resources and ensuring department goals are achieved consistently. You will be direct report to the Staffing Manager.

Primary Job Responsibilities


  • Execute company recruiting strategy
  • Manage creation and posting of job requisitions
  • Consult with hiring managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified requisitions
  • Collect and analyzes data to maintain current understanding of fair and competitive market salaries, candidate availability, and demand for candidates in particular fields.
  • Consult data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions
  • Screen candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers
  • Check candidates references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds
  • Advise candidates on the interview and hiring process
  • Organize and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities
  • Follow up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful
  • Arrange meeting locations, travel, and/or accommodations for applicants and interviewees when necessary
  • Maintain and ensures compliance with applicable EEO and related employment laws and regulations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration, or similar preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in staffing recruiting
  • Successful and goal-oriented work ethic
  • Ability to work and effectively communicate with senior-level business partners
  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast pace environment
