Position Purpose/Summary: The HR Recruiting Coordinator provides administration for full recruiting life cycle, including pre-employment, onboarding, and ATS data processing. Provides talent sourcing focus for open positions as assigned; responsible for temporary to hire program.

Knowledge-Skills-Abilities (minimum)

Education:

  • Bachelor?s degree in human resources or related field, and/or equivalent relevant topic work experience
  • Topic certification a strong plus.

Experience (years and topics): 1-2 years

  • Applied and practiced competency for talent acquisition administration.
  • Experience with temp to hire placement partnering with staffing agency.
  • Aware of legal compliance relating to talent sourcing and onboarding process.
  • Knowledge and experience with general employment law and regulation.
  • Strong HRIS systems and applicant tracking systems (ATS) know-how.
  • Highly organized and efficient work ethic; can recover from distractions and multi-task seamlessly.
  • Independent worker who is self-motivated and self-directed to achieve expectations set by others.
  • Follows directions accurately and without delay (time management), does not lose sight of details, while adjusting to work load.
  • Capable to work under pressure on a regular basis and maintains respectable positive persona as a collaborator, team member who fosters partnerships easily.
  • Instinct to problem solve and judge situations with integrity and sense of urgency.
  • Skills to provide data analysis, mining, and reporting as needed.
  • Creativity to produce ad slicks, power point presentations, and message on social media.
  • Character to go above and beyond without coaxing or needing constant recognition.
  • Processes feedback well and constructively; does not repeat errors.
  • Requires reasonable work direction and guidance, but generally can figure out the task using resources and self initiative.
  • Handles conflict with decorum and goal to reconcile situation.

Technology/Software:

  • Excellent computer/technology skills particularly with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and email.
  • Proficiency using HR software and database application.
  • Comfortable with social media on multi-formats: phone, desktop, tablet.

Communication:

  • Outstanding written, oral, interpersonal, and outward behavior communication expected.
  • A listener by nature with talent for understanding the audience and how to communicate the message effectively.
  • Comfortable in uncomfortable situations such as negotiation, unfavorable outcome of effort discussion, urgent and alarmist work volume, and other generally heightened situations

Physical Capabilities
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands along with fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May need to lift or move weight up to 20lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Position Responsibilities-Tasks-Deliverables

  • Provides staffing energy toward temp to hire program in partnership with agency personnel, Field Team, and management.
  • Screens candidates for assigned job openings: resume review and feedback in ATS, phone screen, in-person interview, and arranging for others to interview.
  • Produces communication pieces unique to situation and audience, applying risk management to content and format.
  • Produces offer letters and other pre-employment transactions, may include presenting verbal offers, negotiating, and offer retraction.
  • Facilitates new hire candidates through onboarding process including document verification and collection, paperwork uploads and signatures, and other new start requirements; works closely with Field Team to create a favorable experience for new employee.
  • Creates and shares talent reports to HR team and management such as weekly new hire announcement, open position list, and other metrics as requested.
  • Processes all post offer transactions such as drug screen, background check, internal documents, and any special arrangements; maintains communication with hiring manager regarding status and progress of their candidate.
  • Prepares employee physical files and E-files in HRIS system, assuring accuracy and content consistency.
  • Maintains ATS database to a current state.
  • Conducts other recruiting tasks such as fact checking resume as directed, acquiring references, and any other special work direction.
