Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking Regional Managers to coordinate and lead a Field Service Regional Support Team located at a domestic or International location. The selected candidate would be expected to rotate into a new assignment approximately every 4 years.

The Regional Managers' assignment locations may not be known at the time of candidate selection and could be domestic or international. As such, candidates must be able to follow worldwide immigration and health policies and in some cases our airline customers’ health policies. Assignment benefits are provided for assignment locations in accordance with company and organizational policies.

In addition, the role comes with international assignment, hence, offer is contingent upon the candidate’s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which they will be assigned. Employment is contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities (including obtaining a work visa) and must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country as applicable. These clearances are also contingencies for any family members who may be relocating with the candidate

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages Field Service employees performing technical or specialist activities that are deployed at remote base locations, including customer or supplier facilities.

  • Develops and drives customer support strategies and tactics to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage, and develop business growth.

  • Directs post-sale coordination of technical and administrative support activities including installation, troubleshooting, problem resolution, test, repair, engineering change improvements and preventive maintenance to be performed at the customer’s site.

  • Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies.

  • Acquires and leverages resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.

  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports.

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • BS/MS Degree and/or an FAA Airframe & Power-plant license (or equivalent).

  • 1+ years of experience leading people as a lead, project leader, or manager

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience managing multi-skills teams

  • 3+ years’ experience as proven leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • 1+ years of experience in Field Service Support

  • 3+ years of experience working directly with Boeing Customers and/or suppliers.

  • Ability to work with large virtual teams

Summary pay range: $120,700 - $163,300
