Rentafence.com is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join our team! The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for the sales and management of customer accounts for Rentafence in a specific territory or region. They must provide pleasant, professional, and expedient communication with customers and corporate representatives. The Territory Sales Manager will work as a tight-knit team with management to service fence contractors and retailers by selling fence products. The incumbent of this position must be self-motivated and able to meet and exceed stipulated service, sales, and retention goals. The ability to sell and make outbound calls to upgrade clients is a vital role in this position.

Position Objective

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for establishing, developing, and maintaining all sales activities within a defined geographical territory for projects related to existing and potential customers, and projects. The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for accounts within all the sectors that Rentafence.com services including residential, industrial, construction, events, and agricultural. The Territory Sales Manager will take a leadership role in building, implementing, and overseeing all of the Company’s sales systems, processes, workflows, and procedures. The Territory Sales Manager will also play a critical role in helping to shape and guide the future growth and development of the organization.

Essential Job Functions: *

  • Conduct professional and effective sales presentations on the company's product line in response to the unique needs of each customer
  • Coordinate with various departments within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely fashion.
  • Act as liaison between customers, sales, field operations, and office personnel to resolve general inquiries & issues for customers
  • Analyze competitor activities in the region and assess opportunities for business development
  • Network with businesses in the territory and build relationships and attend relevant industry events and conferences to build business
  • Build the company within the territory using a variety of sales techniques
  • Push to meet revenue targets and KPI's as set by the COO
  • Target potential customers, assess opportunities for sales, arrange meetings with potential customers and sell product offerings
  • Develop sales strategies to target existing and potential accounts
  • Follow up on sales leads from other representatives within the organization
  • Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries for estimates and quotes in an expedient manner
  • Produce quotes and orders as well as document sales activities and leverage business intelligence through Salesforce
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Achieve sales goals by identifying business needs, analyzing the market, and initiating a sales plan
  • Ensure customer and vendor file integrity (documents, communication notations, etc.)
  • Maintain accuracy of records including the proper posting of customer payments, A/R, A/P, inventory, etc.
  • Ensure that all activities and operations are performed in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws governing business operations.
  • Other projects and tasks as assigned by management

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, and Competences:

  • A degree in Business Administration is desirable. A combination of practical experience and education will be considered as an alternative.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the temporary fence and sanitation industry
  • Proven ability to consistently meet sales goals, territory management, presentation skills, Building Relationships, Emphasizing Excellence, Negotiation, Results Driven, Sales Planning, Managing Profitability,
  • Advanced proficiency using Salesforce
  • Relevant industry background gained from a competitor or company in a related industry preferred
  • Proven track record of building business and hitting sales targets
  • Customer relationship development
  • Ability to sell value to differentiate Rentafence.com from the competition
  • Excellent communication skills. Strong networker, coach, relationship builder, and communicator with experience building and collaborating with diverse work teams, developing and maintaining an organization-wide strategy for program excellence.
  • Goal-oriented with superior organization, time, and project management skills
  • Strong initiator and entrepreneurial thinker
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Ability to visit customer work sites as needed
