As the Regional Training Manager supporting US Vision Care, you will be trusted to build and deliver a variety of training initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, train new hires, coach and co-travel with account managers. You will also be collaborating with regional directors, district managers, regional field trainers and new hire mentors in the Southern Territory.
Primary Responsibilities:
Curriculum Maintenance & Content Development
  • Update new Account Manager (AM) on-boarding content to maintain relevance and focus on driving sales.
  • Develop technical, business and selling skills content for new and tenured sales organization based on sales organization needs at a national, regional or district level
Collaboration on Training Initiatives: creation, delivery or advisor
  • Marketing team: national sales meetings, mid-year meetings, product and program launches
  • Pricing and programs team: ongoing tools and resources to drive sales
  • Business analytics team: ongoing tools to analyze territory sales to plan effective sales calls
  • Special projects with other internal business functions
Training Execution
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire training
  • Deliver training initiatives at a national, regional or district level
  • Delivery of content through face-to-face meetings, pod-casts, WebEx and video recordings
  • Work within and model compliance policies
Internal Account Managers (IAM)
  • Internal Account Managers cover open territories in a region and work on special projects
  • Mentoring and development through co-travels and conference/WebEx calls
Leading & Training Regional Training Managers (RFT)
  • Regional Field Trainers are Account Managers who tackle additional training roles
  • On-boarding the new RFT
  • Assigning content and prepare RFT to assist in new AM on-boarding
  • Assisting District Manager (DM) in assigning RFT to work with a new hire
  • Facilitate regional RFT calls to solicit feedback and standard methodologies
Co-travels
  • Conduct Field Rides as needed with new and tenured Account Managers
Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +10 yrs; Assoc.+6 yrs; M.S.+0 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 2 Years of Validated Experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or related field
  • Successful Vision Care sales experience and industry knowledge
  • Vision Care Regional Field Trainer experience
  • Experience mentoring and coaching new representatives in the field
  • Experience facilitating training classes
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally with internal and external partners
  • Possess high achievement drive, self-motivation, and willingness to mentor others
  • Effective problem solving and decision making skills
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to optimally communicate across diverse audiences
  • Business sense and business planning skills
