Responsibilities of an RNAC:
- Coordinate processes related to the assessment and care planning of patients or residents.
- Scheduling regular assessments for patients, asking patients to report on how they feel.
- Provide regular reports to doctors and other medical professionals, and billing.
- Work with the Medical Decision Support (MDS) system to ensure diseases and conditions are treated in the best possible way.
Qualifications for an RNAC:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- 1-year experience as an RNAC preferred
- Clinical Nursing Home: 2 years
- MDS Coordinator: 2 year
- RAC-CT Certification preferred
- Extensive knowledge of MDS, Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance
- Only hiring vaccinated staff
