Position Summary and Stats

The Case Manager Registered Nurse coordinates organization efforts to efficiently manage admissions, plan of treatment and discharge needs for patients admitted to the hospital. Reviews admissions for appropriateness, effectiveness of treatment, efficiency of services and timeliness of discharge to ensure all patients receive the highest quality of care/service possible in the most appropriate setting.

Current RN license or compact license in the State of Louisiana.

Current BLS

Level 1: 3 years experience in clinical acute care; 1 year case management experience preferred

Level 2: 3 years experience in hospital case management or 2 years experience in hospital case management with one year experience of other case management

Lakeview Regional Medical Center, established in 1977, is a 167-bed, full service, acute care hospital. It continues to introduce the latest breakthroughs in advanced treatment for life-threatening, debilitating strokes, and heart attacks.

Lakeview Regional's Outpatient Rehabilitation Center provides the highest level of treatment in speech, physical, and occupational therapies. Our Women's Center offers compassionate family-centered care for women's physical and emotional well-being from pre-pregnancy through post-menopause and is designated a baby-friendly facility.

The Lakeview Behavioral Health Center, for patients aged 55 and over, is the only inpatient health facility in the Southeast region with all private rooms. The Joint Commission and the Department of Health & Hospitals have accredited this short-term, 24-bed unit.

Lakeview Regional Physician Group employs over 30 physicians who see patients at 11 convenient locations on the Northshore providing care in family medicine, general surgery, heart care, internal medicine, orthopedics, and vascular care.
