Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - (MS RN)

Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: typical med surg: GI bleed, cellulitis, sepsis, PNA, etc. patients, step down ventilator dependent patients (but ravelers do not care for this population). # of Beds: 29 Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1/5: Charting: Cerner Scrub Color: Any color Areas of Float Support: Special Procedures: None Common Equipment: alaris pump, SCD pump, WOWs, Doctors Medical Center (DMC), located in Modesto, California, is the largest full-care hospital between Sacramento and Fresno and from the Sierras to the San Francisco Bay Area with a 394-bed general acute care capacity and a 67-bed inpatient psychiatric capacity. DMC is one of the largest employers in Stanislaus County with 2,600 plus employees and over 150 volunteers. Over 25,000 patients are admitted annually and more than 106,000 patients are treated in the emergency department each year. Doctors Medical Center is part of Tenet Healthcare Corporation, which is one of the nation’s largest providers of health care services. DMC is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the State of California Department of Health Services (General Acute Care Hospital and Clinical Laboratory).
Required Qualifications
Years of Experience: 2. BLS, ACLS,
CA License
2+ years of acute care nursing experience
2+ completed traveling assignments (6+ months)
Must Float within scope as needed
