Full Time, position, scheduled 36 hours per week on the 12’s night with a weekend and holiday commitment on the Labor and Delivery Unit.

Labor and Delivery

In-patient, on the unit we have 12 LDR’s, 4 High Risks Rooms, 7 Bed Triage Areas, 6 Ante partum Rooms, 3 C/Section Rooms, 4 Bed PACU. All patient rooms are private

Treatment Team consists of RNs, Surgical Technicians Patient Care Technicians & Unit Clerks. – all located on the unit.

Our team consist of 24/7 In-House Providers

• Obstetricians
• Midwives
• OB residents
• Pediatricians
• Neonatologist
• Anesthesiologist
• CRNA
• Maternal Fetal Medicine available

We require 13 weeks of orientation OB Core Course. (Provided as part of orientation)

REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE

Requires current Michigan Nursing License

Graduation from accredited nursing program

New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years

New graduate nurses, requires licensure examination scheduled within 45 days of hire
