YOUR LIFE AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN) – ON-CALL NURSING SUPERVISOR

This home healthcare job is a part-time, on-call position.

In this part-time Registered Nurse (RN) – On-call Nursing Supervisor role, you're ready and willing to answer the call for help. During on-call hours, you provide caregiving assistance by offering guidance over the phone. You also deliver quality in-home care, assessing and treating clients according to the physician's directives. Attentive to detail, you carefully read all of the documentation provided and use sound judgment when providing in-home caregiving services. Thanks to your professional experience, you have the expertise to effectively monitor your clients' physical and emotional well-being.

Your clients appreciate your friendly manner as you make an effort to connect with them while meeting their needs. They can count on you to administer prescribed medications, check that their equipment is working properly, and ensure that they have an adequate stock of medical supplies. You also coordinate with community and social services to identify resources to improve quality of life, and you assist with scheduling medical and therapy appointments. After you leave, you make sure to accurately update records and notify management of any changes in condition. You find a sense of purpose and fulfillment as you provide your clients with the home healthcare services they need!

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• 1+ years of experience as a registered nurse and a license to practice in New Jersey
• Availability to assist over the phone and to conduct home visits when necessary
• Professional liability insurance with $1 million+ of coverage, if applicable
• Ability to pass the home care exam
• Valid driver's license and an auto insurance policy with liability coverage
