Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager Job at GHR Search
GHR Search is seeking a qualified and experienced RN Unit Manager for a reputable Skilled Nursing Facility in the Wallingford, PA area.
- Weekly Pay
- Pay range between $55-$65, based on experience
- 3 month contract to start with likely contract extension or full time employment available upon completion of contract

Responsibilities of RN Unit Manager:
- Oversees staff/patient care
- Implements and evaluates all nursing procedures and systems relative to unit programming
- Supervises nursing care provided by nursing assistants, licensed vocational/practical nurses and others for whom they are administratively or professionally responsible.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizational policies and applicable laws.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and clinical expertise required to effectively supervise all nursing activities in the facility or the units to which assigned.
- Develops a plan of care and implements nursing care based on assessment.
- Maintains accurate patient medical records
- Performs general nursing duties as assigned
Qualifications for RN Unit Manager:
- RN, management, or supervisory experience in long-term care
- BLS certification
- Current state license to practice as a nurse
- Ability to communicate orally and through written reports and other documents relating to Resident, staff, and others.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
RN Unit Manager Schedule:
- Monday – Friday day shift
- Weekend availability is possible
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour
