Kentfield Hospital - San Francisco is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team!

$10,000 BONUS for Full Time!

Kentfield Hospital-San Francisco, located in San Francisco, is a 40 bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

The RN Supervisor is responsible for the delivery of efficient, high quality patient care. Responsible for personnel, management, and coordination of nursing service activities for the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established philosophy, objectives and policies of the hospital. The supervisor works with employees and other mangers to develop systems and procedures necessary for daily operations, and provides training, information and support to solve problems and accomplish assigned objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required.
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Critical care experience preferred.
  • Three (3) years experience in an acute care setting preferred.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • CCRN preferred. Ability to project a professional image.
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
  • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It’s not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $63.00 to $80.69.
