Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist - PRN Job at Bon Secours Mercy Health

The Respiratory Therapist communicates and interacts with physicians and nurses to provide respiratory functions that will promote and enhance patient care. The Respiratory Therapist performs duties that include management of mechanical ventilation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, nebulizer and metered dose inhaler administration, chest percussion, and pulmonary toilet. The procedures mentioned above are verified and carried out according to established department policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an AMA approved Respiratory Care program
- CRT or RRT Credential from NBRC, including maintenance of active status
- Current Virginia licensure, including CRCE requirements
- Current BLS certification
