Muskegon Surgical Associates provides quality health services for patients in West Michigan. MSA is made up of numerous areas of surgical expertise including General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Hand Surgery. In addition, we have a complete Vascular Lab, Office Based Lab, Occupational Therapy services, and Medical Spa.

We also have a dedicated IAC accredited vascular ultrasound lab founded in 2004. We provide diagnostic testing to patients from all over the state. Our primary outreach for diagnostic vascular services encompasses a 5 county region. We are experts in vascular diagnostics and we provide better quality imaging in less time.

Muskegon Surgical Associates is recruiting for a full time, three and a half days (35 hours per week) Registered Vascular Technologist to join our Vascular Technician group and work at our Mercy Drive location. We are seeking a professional, flexible, dependable, team-oriented individual who works well under pressure in a busy medical practice. Candidates must provide excellent patient care to the patients of MSA as well as all stakeholders of Muskegon Surgical Associates.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Prepares and performs a complete range of non-invasive vascular ultrasound exams with accuracy and thoroughness in a timely manner.

*Provides a preliminary report of technical findings for the interpreting surgeon/referring physician

*Collaborates with appropriate teams to ensure accurate patient data entry, and scheduling, as well as timely and accurate reporting.

*Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment

*Can provide staffing coverage as needed and in some cases with short notice

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

*Successful graduation from an accredited sonography program

*Certificate by the ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS)

*Current BLS certification

*Currently maintained minimum necessary CME as required by ARDMS or CCI

*Will provide training on more specialized exams
