Registration Rep - Northwest Health Porter- Full Time FTE 1.0 - **Point of Service Bonuses** Job at Northwest Health Porter
Under the leadership of assigned Patient Access Management, the qualified candidate receives, collects, and records accurate information, including but not limited to:
- patient demographics
- patient health information
- physician order documentation
- billing information from patients to complete registration for hospital services
- Coordinates admissions process
- communicates with physicians & nursing, and other service areas to promote timely and accurate registration process
- Verifies insurance benefits
- assess need/eligibility for financial assistance,
- collects applicable co-pays and/or deductibles.
Provides support in assisting patients and family members with resolving all their financial needs by establishing payment arrangements or financial assistance determination. In addition, you would assess the need for financial assistance within the organization. Promotes patient satisfaction, serving as a liaison on behalf of hospital and patient.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
