Regulatory Accountant Job at Morgan Auto Group Shared Accounting North
As an Accountant Regulatory Reporting you'll be working in collaboration with internal and external accountants and will assist in the accurate and timely reporting of the company’s (i) audited financial statements and (ii) tax returns.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual audited financial statements, footnotes, disclosures, and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and quarterly tax estimates.
- Prepare support and schedules for reported information, which includes intercompany, equity, investment, swap, and debt transactions
- Assist with segregation of duties and internal control analysis
- Assist with cost segregation studies
- Assist team members with other financial reporting and tax related requests when needed
We're looking for people who have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
- 1- 4 years of experience in accounting
- Ability to work within tight time constraints and multiple priorities
- Proficient using Microsoft Excel and Word. Reynolds and Reynolds software and auto industry experience a plus
- Preferred knowledge and experience working with audited financial statements and tax return
