Overview:

June Jacobs Labs and Peter Thomas Roth seeks an experienced leader of regulatory affairs with expertise in global skincare including OTC. This position serves as point of contact for all existing and new formula development reviews, OTC knowledge and international registration needs.

This position reports to Head of R&D, with dotted line to CMO/Marketing and Product Development. Will have a close working relationship with Head of Operations in regards to country registrations, as well as a regulatory specialist who works directly with international distributors and regulatory bodies.

Key Accountabilities:

· Key driver of regulatory process for Cosmetic Manufacturing Laboratory. Leads process of approvals of raw materials, formulas and compliancy for formulas produced.

· Provides regulatory counsel for R&D and Product Development team from the beginning of the product cycle to ensure all raw materials are in compliance with the Product Development requirements.

· Partner with outsourced compliance agency to manage overall laboratory document sharing.

· Gather, review raw material information, and maintain documents to be up to date to ensure global regulatory compliance.

· Create upstream global raw material database.

· Upload formula information into Regulatory database and maintain accurate product information for product registration.

· Coordinate the cosmetic and OTC regulatory approval process in all markets with regulatory specialist.

· Compile and generate internal formula documentation including quantitative formulas, ingredient lists, and raw material dossiers.

· Create dossiers of testing materials required to register products in global marketplace.

· Partner with R&D to Product Development to ensure initial compliancy review on all formula-related information.

· Communicate with third party suppliers, manufacturers, and external regulatory agencies on both an ingredient and finished product level.

· Inform team of any regulatory updates and potential business impacts.

· Central role for all regulatory matters across all teams related to formula development and updates.
