Job Summary:

The Rehabilitation Aide is responsible for the delivery of support services in WMMHC’s Day Treatment program. A successful Rehabilitation Aide works to teach and assist with skill development in independent living, rehabilitation and socialization/recreation to adults with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders

A day in the life of a Rehabilitation Aide consists of being a positive role model through good work ethic, fairness, flexibility, and good communication. Rehabilitation Aides complete documentation, initiate mental health groups, food preparation duties including meal planning, cooking, cleanup, safe handling and storage, and other various tasks that support clients through whole person care.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates Degree preferred
• Two-years’ experience working with persons with SDMI or Developmental Disabilities preferred
• Experience in activity planning and facilitation as well as advocacy experience preferred
• Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.
• Current and valid MT driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies
