Job Objectives
To ensure customer orders are processed and shipped complete and in a timely manner. Responsible for communicating with internal business partners on ship schedules and communicating with the appropriate personnel to ensure product is available and ships on time. If order cannot be shipped complete, analyze the order, determine the root cause and communicate to the appropriate team.
Essential Job Functions
- Make decisions regarding appropriate action to take on a customer’s order within your assigned customer groups based off individual customer requirements, with a commonsense approach to develop logical answers
- Must have a working knowledge of the manufacturing and distribution operations
- Must have Excel Experience
- Oracle Experience is a plus
- Must be able to do repetitive attention to detail tasks
- Monitor orders from the “booked” status to “closed” to ensure we are meeting our customers “on-time” performance standards
- Release orders to selecting staff following the wave plan based on min/max guidelines for pick capacity (lines)
- Work with Receiving, Inventory and Replenishment teams to ensure inventory is available to release.
- Communicate to Marketing, Manufacturing, and Distribution regarding out of stock items, discontinued items and special requirements
- Communicate all issues to the appropriate personnel whenever you begin to suspect that a customer order may not ship on time and complete

Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm OR
Monday - Friday 12:00pm to 8:30pm
