Remote Bookkeeping Manager

Business is booming at REI Bookkeepers! We are a QuickBooks Online bookkeeping firm that exclusively serves real estate investors. We have worked with over 100 individual real estate investors from all parts of the country. Our reputation as an expert bookkeeping firm that serves one specific niche has earned us countless client referrals.

Our team of remote bookkeepers has grown rapidly over the past few years. We currently have more incoming business than we can handle. We are looking to strengthen our team with a bookkeeping management position.

Candidate should have a good working knowledge of bookkeeping and the accounting cycle. However, more important than having accounting knowledge, we are looking for candidates who are interested in real estate investing. You do not have to be an expert at real estate accounting. But you should demonstrate a strong desire to learn this niche.

Potential for growth in this position is substantial. I’m looking for someone to mentor who will eventually manage much of my entire business. You will start off by taking on a few clients for monthly bookkeeping in order to learn the process. As you learn I will transition you into management, oversight and review tasks. We will conduct weekly Zoom calls, and I will be invested in your success.

This is currently a remote position on a contract basis (1099 income). Candidates should have access to all the major home office amenities - dedicated space, high-speed internet, business laptop, wireless phone, etc.

Over the long term I would like to transition this role into full-time employment. Obtaining professional office space is a long-term goal for this company. Targeted locations for this space will in the NW suburbs of Minneapolis/St Paul, MN. For that reason, I am restricting this position to MN candidates only.

Candidates that maintain some form of accounting credential are preferred. Examples include:

• CPA (not required)
• Accounting degree (B.S. or Associate degree)
• Professional bookkeeping association
• QBO ProAdvisor Certification

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
