We are currently seeking a Remote Utility Relations Representative to join our Team in Pensacola, FL.

The Utility Relations Representative works closely with utility companies to ensure that Meraki's customers are able to have their newly installed systems turned on and operable as quickly as possible. Utility Relationship Representatives are vital to closing each project in a timely manner. These Representatives must be able to effectively communicate with utility companies as well as other members of the Meraki team. The representative must demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. They are also responsible for keeping detailed notes on projects in Salesforce as they handle the necessary processing to move the project forward. This role is highly administrative.

Scope of work:

  • Manage Salesforce CRM prioritization for providing prompt support and answers for project advocates and sales team members
  • Correspond with utility companies, send documentation, and follow up as needed
  • Act as the team expert on assigned utility company’s practices for net metering and documentation requirements
  • Ensure best practices for resolving customer issues and moving sales forward

  • Send, complete, and follow up on required documentation, daily
  • Follow up with customers regularly to meet project deadlines
  • Assist customers with navigating utility company websites
  • Provide expert support and respond to customer inquiries via phone and email


What do you need to be successful in this role:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years experience in customer service
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite preferred
