Job Summary

The Renewals Agent at California Contractors Insurance Services, reports to Renewals Manager and is responsible for working in conjunction with the other members of the Renewals business team to review, underwrite, quote, bind, and service all lines of offered business products.

Position Responsibilities

  • Field in-coming client calls
  • Manage assigned product workflows for core products,
  • Issue renewal bonds and liability policies
  • Complete daily and monthly business follow-up lists, as assigned
  • Manage returned mail
  • Issue requested certificates/endorsements

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business or related discipline preferred
  • Phenomenal interpersonal skills utilized with team member, clients, and vendor partners
  • High Volume Call-Center experience preferred
  • Insurance experience preferred

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time in-office position. This position may occasionally flex between shifts depending on business needs.

Pay and Benefits

The starting pay scale for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 hourly. This position is also eligible to participate in the monthly bonus program. Actual starting pay will be based on factors such as skills, qualifications, training, and experience. In addition, the company offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) plan with match, paid time off, and other benefits.

No travel is expected for this position.
