Job Summary
The Ski Check Attendant’s main function is to safeguard and protect the customer’s equipment while delivering a level of customer service that goes above and beyond their expectations.
Essential Job Functions
- To greet and provide superior guest service at all times.
- Collect payment for use of this service.
- Stay on site at all times while on duty.
- Properly match numbers and locations with equipment.
- Decipher between rental equipment and customer owned equipment.
- Handle money in an organized fashion.
- Set up work area.
- Organize and maintain a clean working environment in and around the rental shop.
- Snow Removal.
Non-essential Job Functions
- Assist with boot fitting.
- Help out in other areas as needed.
Requirements
- Must be able to work outdoors in a variety of extreme weather conditions.
- Must be able to deal with high volumes of people in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Do to the nature of this position, we are not able to accommodate color blind applicants.
- Able to handle money and have basic math skills.
- Able to work well with others in a team environment.
- Able to lift 40 lbs over your head.
- Able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow directions in a timely manner.
- Must be able to stand entire shift.
- Must be able to work Holidays and Weekends which may include evenings.
- Must be able to stand entire shift.
- Must be able to kneel or crouch.
