Job Summary:

Facilitates interactions with customers in a way that establishes rapport, gives the customer confidence that their needs can be met, and promotes effective relationships. Utilizes company systems including Salesforce CRM to sell industrial products to customers by gathering information about their needs, assisting with technical information about company products, soliciting orders and suggesting additional products in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. Creates new customers by researching potential customers, making cold calls and following up on leads. The ideal candidate has a tenacious desire to learn, entrepreneurial hunger to make an immediate impact, high energy and enthusiasm, with a relentless commitment to exceeding customer expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Communication with existing customers and potential clients:

  • Customer service emails and calls from existing Diesel Dash dealers and customers
  • Cold calling to various businesses pitching Diesel Dash services
  • Onboarding existing Stewart & Stevenson customers to buy online with Diesel Dash
  • Create a point of contact for the customer and build ongoing relationship
  • Cordial follow up emails with pricing and availability quotes, additional website information, etc.
  • Meet with customers when requested and arrange meetings with onsite representatives
  • Diesel Dash promotional campaigns
  • Soliciting orders and suggesting additional products

Research Potential Customers / Salesforce CRM Management:

  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to sell Diesel Dash to customers
  • Review daily tasks and leads
  • Research customer profiles, past orders, contact information
  • Updating contact information on client profiles
  • Utilize search engines and social media for points of contact

Research and Identifying Parts:

  • Manage 7 different OEM systems to gather accurate information on parts
  • Internal communication with Parts Dealers
  • Answer any product questions
  • Quote delivery and creation
  • Solicit orders and suggest additional products
  • Assist with technical information about company needs

Education:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Prior experience and training will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

  • 2-3 years of Inside Sales experience
  • Experience in industrial parts distribution, specifically diesel engine and transmission parts preferred.
  • Salesforce or other related CRM experience preferred

Work Environment:

The work environment is a temperature-controlled office of a moderately quiet sound level. Willing to attend training when required. It is expected that all employees follow vessels and production sites safety rules and procedures when working in this environment. In the event of work being performed outside of a temperature-controlled office environment, it is required that appropriate clothing, footwear and PPE are worn at all times to maintain safety standards.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent sitting for long period of time, occasional walking, standing, stooping, bending and twisting of the neck, bending and twisting from the waist, and reaching overhead. This position requires frequent fine manipulation and simple grasping of both right and left hands (e.g. typing, holding telephone receiver, and utilizing writing implements.) This position requires occasional lifting of no more than 30 lbs. This position requires close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and the ability to adjust focus.

Experience

Required
  • 2 - 3 years: 2-3 years of Inside Sales experience

Education
