Repair Room Technician Job at Essintial Enterprise Solutions
JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position will receive in house training and be responsible for the repairing of retail, consumer, and office equipment for various customers varying in size, equipment type, and scope in our facility. The individual will be part of a team of approx. a dozen in house technician that are assigned tasks ranging from OS and software configurations to replacing various components. Individuals may also be involved in or assigned mechanical repairs in various types of equipment such as printers, image loading to end user PC’s, and/or peripheral testing.
Requirements:
· Able to lift devices up to 50 lbs
· PC hardware & software troubleshooting experience
· Experience with Microsoft Excel
· Formal classwork or training in a relevant field (preferred)
· Experience or interest in electronic and/or electro-mechanical repairs (preferred)
· Previous imaging deployment and knowledgeable on CMD functions (preferred)
Responsibilities:
· This position will focus on the loading and configure various OS/Software packages based on customer requirements
· Diagnose and repair various equipment including desktops, laptops, laser printers, thermal printers, scanners, mobile devices, and specialty equipment
· Track actions taken on individual assets as the work is performed
· Goals are team centric but must be able to work independently and remain self-motivated to meet production goals
Schedule:
Mon thru Fri, 9:30 am – 6:30 pm (1 hour lunch)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
