The Replenishment Buyer is responsible for providing support to the Purchasing & Vendor Development Departments by replenishing inventory using a “Just-in-Time” purchasing model, while maintaining prescribed fill rates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Replenish inventory for assigned vendors, utilizing system programs and spreadsheet tools

• Maintain prescribed fill rate by vendor, according to established procedure

• Process purchase orders and requisitions

• Ensure accuracy of purchase orders before receipt of product

• Manage, coordinate and follow up with vendors in a professional manner

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills

• Computer proficiency, Google Suite preferred

• Strong Excel skills

• Strong mathematical aptitude

• Solid written and verbal communication skills

• Proactive, self-motivated and ability to think independently

• Ability to analyze situations accurately and develop effective courses of action

• Resolve requests, questions, and issues promptly

• Ability to work well in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

• Accomplish assignments and meet goals in an accurate and timely manner

OTHER

• Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience

  • Computer/data entry required
