Position Summary & Responsibilities:
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Assists with evaluating program performance of local area regional operations managers (ROMs) and case managers and provides training and staff development as needed. Reviews and manages reports to track adherence to RESEA policies and procedures. Provides technical assistance to ROMs and case managers on all program eligibility, federal and state laws and guidelines and federal and state RESEA operating policies and procedures. Meets with ROMs, USDOL representatives and KDOL representatives to discuss and offer solutions relating to the administration of RESEA programs in order to share appropriate information and best practices
Conducts local/statewide program audits of RESEA cases on a quarterly basis. Conducts complete file/case management audits of RESEA files on a regular basis. Makes recommendations to manager to increase efficiency and ensure adherence to federal and state guidelines
Coordinates and facilitates training of RESEA staff for quarterly meetings and annual conference. Monitors and tracks program requirements, participation and outcomes for statewide RESEA initiatives. Facilitates federal audit preparations by coordinating the planning, staging and file inventory of files that have been identified for audit
Participates, develops and prepares procedural and instructional materials for new hires and partners. Participates in or assists the Reemployment Connections Manager to conduct yearly reviews of the Workforce Centers to ensure maximum reemployment services are provided to RESEA customers
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Six months’ experience in career counseling, job placement, recruitment, assessment and deployment of staff or similar related experience.
Twenty-four (24) credit hours leading to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university will be considered in lieu of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Six months of previous experience in the RESEA program or working knowledge of the program (preferred but not required)
