• Assist in the creation, development, and maintenance of databases for previous, current, and upcoming research projects.
• Enter and track research data in computer databases and study worksheets, records, and reports.
• Manage computer entry of research data generated by clinical staff and multiple sites within the DoD.
• Review subject records for accuracy and completeness and identify and resolve any discrepancies/inconsistencies.
• Review and update study-related datasets and documents for accuracy and completeness. Identify and resolve any discrepancies/inconsistencies.
• Review, incorporate/create, and maintain data entry processes and instructions based on individual research protocols.
• Organize and store medical records, worksheets, CRFs, DCFs, and other study data forms. Archive study data at study completion.
• Schedule study patients, ensuring that appointments fall within window requirements for the study in which they are participating.
• Provide assistance in conducting visual tests as required by research protocols.
• Assist informed consent counseling for NRSC research studies should a subject agree to enroll.
• Monitor clinical research data compliance with FDA standards. Create data queries to solve data discrepancies using knowledge of Optometry and Ophthalmology research.
• Develop CRFs as required for research projects ensuring all meet the requirements of good clinical practice.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
