The Geophysics department at the Colorado School of Mines (Mines) is promoting Dr. Yanrui Ning from Post-Doctoral Fellow to Research Associate.
Dr. Ning will conduct applied research in 1) carbon sequestration to assist with the commercial-scale deployment of carbon capture, utilization, and sequestration (CCUS) in Colorado, and 2) DFOS to characterize hydraulic fracture geometry of unconventional wells to optimize the development of unconventional reservoirs, especially the Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin located in Northern Colorado.
