Customer Service (Consumer Knoll.com)
POSITION PROFILE
This position is a hands-on Customer Service Representative for Knoll Consumer. This person is responsible for providing direction, facilitation, and diverse assistance to Knoll.com. This person will coordinate key aspects of the customer experience, including order management, direct/indirect customer support, process improvement and customer analysis initiatives to drive customer loyalty and superior customer engagement.

Knoll Consumer Customer Service Support includes:
  • Position will be for East Coast Coverage. Hours are 8-5.
  • Applies knowledge of specialized processes, policies, and procedures as related to Knoll.com team function.
  • Assists with coaching, training, and mentoring new and existing team members, both formally and informally.
  • Creates and updates work instructions as business needs develop and change.
  • Develops and maintains excellent working relationships with inter-departmental teams (Scheduling, Traffic, Manufacturing, Returns Warehouse, Product Resources, IT, Marketing).
  • Identifies optimization opportunities and contributes to online marketing efforts to reach new customers and build customer loyalty.
  • Initiates and is responsible for Knoll.com order maintenance related work such as returns, replacements, credits, revisions, and cancellations.
  • Maintains high level of competence in Knoll capabilities, including process, products, services, and workplace knowledge.
  • Participates in cross-functional project teams to continuously improve performance.
  • Serves as Knoll.com content expert to contribute to the ongoing administration and improvement of technical tools; including but not limited to eCommerce platform, phone system, call tracking, and use of Gladly.
  • Supports customer analysis and segmentation activities to optimize marketing efforts and drive both incremental revenue and lifetime customer relationships.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives.
  • Negotiate and make sound judgements on customer accommodations.
REQURIED EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and professional experience
  • 2-3 years of experience of demonstrated success in customer service supporting brick and mortar or eCommerce
REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Exceptional problem-solving ability, systemic thinking, HMPS or Six Sigma background preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using Excel. Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics is a plus.
  • Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to exhibit positive customer service.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills; must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Possesses high energy and a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile to make customers happy.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use office automation, communication, software, and tools currently used in the Knoll office environment

A starting compensation range for this role is $16.05 - $20.20. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
