Residential Swimming Pool Sales Representative Job at Flower Mound Pool Care and Maintenance
Description/Summary
The Weekly Service Sales position is responsible for identifying, recruiting and closing sales agreements with customers who will benefit from FMPC services. The priority is selling weekly services. Responsibilities include ensuring that the FMPC brand and customer service features are effectively communicated to demonstrate customers’ expectations will be met to ensure closure of sales agreement and by following up with customers after the weekly services have been initiated. Compensation structure is a combination of salary and commission.
Essential Functions
- Define methods to identify and contact potential weekly service customers.
- Accept customer calls or initiate calls to customers to understand pool owner needs, pool attributes and condition and schedule and perform visits at the home site.
- Offer FMPC services by describing and communicating the FMPC value proposition to the customer.
- Recommend pool maintenance plans and explain upgrades to the customer and refer needed repairs and renovations to the appropriate FMPC customer service representative for assignment to repair technicians.
- Track, measure and report sales goals, contacts, contact follow up and sales closures.
Job Requirements/Qualifications
Education: High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: Outside sales experience, with a preference towards residential services.
Skills: Superior organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sales calls and follow-up.Knowledge of pool water chemistry, equipment operation and pool surface conditions is preferred. Ability to articulate weekly swimming pool and semi-annual filter cleaning services, equipment repairs, upgrades and renovations is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills. Self motivated.
Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license with motor vehicle record in good standing required. Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) licenses are preferred, but not required.
