As the Respite Manager, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day services in a Medicaid Waiver funded setting. You provide supervision and support to Direct Support Professionals (DSP) working at these locations. The Respite Manager acts as a mentor, teacher, and support to people of all ability levels to assist them in living, learning, and working successfully as an active part of their communities. You will also oversee the operation of the Huntington County Respite home and work to ensure that the services and supports provided meet the expectations of the person supported and the governing oversight requirements.

Requirements: Preferred Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- At least 18 years of age.
- 3-5 years in the Human Service field or related field.
- Basic language, written, and computer skills necessary for communication and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to support people with disabilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, if needed.
- Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and safe driving record.
- Ability to speak, hear, and read the English language.
- Covid-19 vaccination required; exemptions for medical and religious purposes available; reasonable accommodations will be considered.
