The Goddard School in Clinton, NJ is looking for Lead and Assistant Teachers to join our team! All applicants are responsible for providing a fun, safe, nurturing environment for children ranging in age from 6 weeks – 5 years. All applicants must be available Monday – Friday for full time positions. Lead teachers must have a CDA or 2-year degree relating to Early Childhood Education, and assistant teachers must have some experience in a child care setting.

GREATER MORRISTOWN YMCA – CHILD CARE DIRECTOR & SUMMER CAMP DIRECTOR


The Greater Morristown YMCA is seeking a School Aged Childcare Program Director & Summer Camp Director! Under the supervision of the Executive Director of Childcare, the SACC “School Aged Childcare” Program Director is a multi-faceted position responsible for organizing and managing our Before and After School Care Program and Summer Day Camp.

In this role, the candidate is responsible for providing direct leadership to the camp and counselor staff, Y Kids Before and After School Care staff, and children under their care. Our summer day camp program runs 8 weeks during the summer, however, the candidate will be an integral part of planning for camp beginning in January. Candidate will run the camp and day-to-day operations, ensuring the groups of children are safe and accounted for while in our care.

The candidate will supervise staff, organize and motivate the children during their time at the YMCA and off-site trips, and maintain a safe and fun camp environment.

Qualifications:

  • Two years related experience preferred, as a coordinator or supervisor of childcare programs.
  • Typical requirements within 30 days of hire include completion of: Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; Working with Program Volunteers; CPR; First Aid; AED; Bloodborne Pathogens.
