Restaurant Supervisor Job at Sheraton Boston Needham Hotel
We are currently seeking a full-time Restaurant Supervisor for our newly renovated property!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain standards of food, beverage, and quality guest service.
- Establish and maintain a proactive human resources function to ensure associate motivation, training, coaching, and development.
- Manage in compliance with established labor, wage, hour and StepStone-related regulations and policies.
- Contribute to the profitability and guest satisfaction perception of other hotel departments.
- Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development.
- Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and inventory control.
- Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
- Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software.
- Serve guests and maintain a level of cleanliness that meets Marriott brand standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum lifting, pulling of 50 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Standing long periods of time.
- Must have weekend and evening availability.
- Must have background in hospitality, knowledge of banquets and restaurant.
- TIPS certified, preferred.
- Other duties may be assigned.
