The Retail Coordinator is responsible for positively impacting business at retail for a given territory of wholesale department stores for 7 For All Mankind's Women's, Men's and JEN7. The Retail Coordinator works in conjunction with Directors of Sales, Account Executives, Retail Coordinator Manager, Supervisor, Account Buyers, Store Line Management, Sales Specialists and Associates, and acts as a liaison. Coordinators are responsible for facilitating branch store sales growth and profitability.

What Will You Be Doing?

Business Analysis:
1. Analyze individual door and total account business through review of:
  • Sales plans
  • Stock to sales reports
  • Style Selling
2. Be proactive in implementing business opportunities:
  • Re-work floor presentations
  • Fill in selling floor as needed
  • Evaluate shop location
  • Review stock levels and by door assortment needs
  • Analyze competition
Communication:
  • Develop strong business relationships with retail players at the store level, including department, visual and store management. Know who makes decisions within each account: GMM, DMM, RMM (RVP’s), Store Directors, Visual Directors, Buyers, Store Managers, Merchandise Teams and Department/Selling Managers.
  • Communicate all product information, business analysis, shop locations, presentation and staffing issues with department store personnel. Cultivate this very crucial business relationship by being a “professional” in every sense of the word, especially attitude and appearance.
  • Complete and submit store visit recaps with pictures on a daily basis to corresponding Director of Sales, Account Executive, Retail Coordinator Manager and Supervisor.
  • Immediately report urgent issues and recommend resolutions to Directors of Sales, Account Executives, Retail Coordinator Manager and Supervisor.
  • Provide before and after or urgent issues photos as needed.
  • Complete monthly schedule and submit to Retail Coordinator Manager and Supervisor.
  • Utilize office time effectively and efficiently.
Merchandising and Visual Standards:
  • Create uniformity in all departments.
  • Ensure all shops have standardized signage, posters and vendor identification. Refer to Identity Guidelines.
  • Ensure stockrooms are organized and goods are accessible and fill in floor accordingly.
  • Restructure the fixtures to represent the standards.
Training:
  • Lead seasonal seminars for all stores, reviewing current basics, fashion, sportswear, new deliveries, ad styles, trends and press.
  • Develop all specialists.
Shop Concept Installations:
  • Assist with the installation and merchandising of shop concept fixtures.
Special Events:
  • Attend special events and monitor the effectiveness of promotions.
  • Accomplish special projects, i.e. competitive analysis recaps, visual/POS collateral roll outs, etc.
  • Provide thorough recap of all events.
  • Communicate any promotions/discounts on products to Account Executive and Retail Coordinator Manager.

Requirements

What Do You Need To Bring?
  • 2-3 Years of Retail experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Understanding of wholesale business and the contemporary market a strong plus
  • Denim experience appreciated
  • Self starter; able to work independently
Skills:
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Travel required by car, air and at times, overnight may be required
