Broad Functions:

Leads strategic inventory initiatives and projects related to distribution and reverse logistics operation. Supports the business operations strategy while improving the inventory management process. Responsible for prioritizing and leading daily functions such as cycle counts, inventory profiling, pick density, rack planning, A-B-C replenishment optimization and ensures functions are successfully completed in a timely and efficient manner with high emphasis on accuracy of results.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Partners with IT as needed, aligning the necessary resources to support inventory improvement

2. Designs and implements an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures

3. Creates detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and inventory quantity levels

4. Manages inventory improvements to scale our client’s operation capability to support volume growth expectations

5. Reports updates daily to designated counterparts and senior leadership

6. Defines project management timelines, solution paths and project structure to deliver on time process improvement solutions. ie; Inventory profiling, pick density, wall to wall cycle count, rack planning, A-B-C Replenishment optimization, development of accuracy goals, Put-away optimization, and development of demand vs. allocation SLA

7. Engages with the required functional management teams to gain operations, inventory process insight, and contribute to developing and/or implementing gap analysis assessments with recommended solutions to minimize errors and improve accuracy

8. Mobilizes and motivates effective project teams; communicating effectively across internal teams and client’s team; reprioritizing as necessary to address changes in the business and/or shifting needs

9. Acts as a primary point of contact for designated projects; facilitates project update meetings, and written communication and reports out to inform stakeholders of progress

10. Position requires >10% travel

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience

2. 2+ years’ experience in warehouse setting in an Inventory Supervisor capacity leading a team of 20+ hourly associates

3. Experience in evaluating and developing salaried Supervisors

4. Ability to develop and deliver long and short-term plans as part of the overall strategy for achieving successful operational goals

5. Ability to collaborate well with client to ensure strong & trusting relationship is maintained

6. Ability to de-escalate associate relation challenges prior to handing off to Human Resources Manager

7. Strategic, business-oriented thinking coupled with firsthand operational/implementation experience and the ability to align quality and inventory processes and systems to support the organization's strategic objectives

8. Advanced written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills as well as listening skills

9. Proficient with Microsoft office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint

10. Has 3PL, Retail & Wholesale Distribution/Reverse Logistics/E-Commerce experience

11. Ability to quickly adapt to functionalities of various WMS technologies in order to serve nGROUP Client efficiently

12. Bilingual preferred, but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $77,000.00 per year
