Cimarron Software Services is seeking two Revit Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) Layout Designers (one mid-level and one senior) to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the US Air Force Sentinel (GBSD) program in either Ogden, UT or Reston, VA. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design, construction, and integration of the Sentinel launch systems at locations to include Vandenberg AFB, CA, F.E. Warren AFB, WY, Malmstrom AFB, MT, and Minot AFB, ND. Sentinel is a vital US Air Force program that will recapitalize the nation's aging ground based leg of the nuclear triad - the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). These positions are for a mid-level and senior Revit MEP Layout Designer who will prepare Revit 3D design layouts, details, drawings, and model information for buildings. The successful candidate will coordinate and integrate design work between the disciplines. This position is for a design specialist in electrical, structural, architectural, or mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will have specialized knowledge in at least one discipline relative to applicable codes and design standards, and be familiar with others. This role will execute designs with minimal direction or oversight, aligned to general concepts and requirements.

Key Duties:

• Be responsible for building layout in 3D Revit model environment.
• Model piping, HVAC, and equipment (MEP) in a 3D Revit model environment.
• Prepare drawings/documents for floor plans.
• Assist with coordination of 3D model activities (i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc.) with other physical-related disciplines.
• Interface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc.
• Perform coordination review of specifications and other documents prepared by others.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
• Cimarron employees are required to follow federal, state, and local laws regarding COVID-19 practices, as well as customer requirements.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and piping codes.
• Hands-on experience using Revit Architecture/MEP and drawing generation.
• Knowledge and application of International Building Code, ASME B31.3 for piping, plumbing codes, and ASHRAE standards.
• Hands-on experience using Revit MEP, Architectural, drawing generation, view templates, design options, and phasing.
• High School diploma or equivalent and 10 or more years of experience, or Associate of Arts or Science, or a certification in an Engineering curriculum or Drafting/Design and 6 or more years of experience.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Active Secret clearance.
• Previous use of Trimble SysQue.
• Previous Bechtel project experience.
• Previous DoD/DoE, USACE, NAVFAC, or USAF experience.

Salary: $85,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
