AFNA makes flexible packaging solutions for food and beverage, healthcare, and home and personal care applications.
Job Description
The Packer sorts, segregates, and palletizes slit rolls to customer specifications using material manipulator, conveyor system, stretch wrap machine and electric and manual pallet jacks.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Education sufficient to read, write and follow work instructions (in English) preferable to a High School Diploma or equivalency.
Must possess keen attention to detail.
Ability to meet schedules and timelines; handle multiple priorities.
Essential Functions:
Follow and actively support all EHS guidelines.
General Housekeeping & 5S
o Maintains all housekeeping standards to ensure care and maintenance of the equipment.
o Maintains an organized, clean & high performance work station.
Sort and segregate slit rolls by order number or as may be specified.
Check the items against the customer packing specification form.
Operate the Material Manipulator to stack and move slit rolls from the conveyor belt to segregated pallets as per customer specification.
Affix product labels to the inner and outer slit roll as may be require
