Location: Boonton, NJ
Compensation: $38-$40/hr+ ~negotiable to go higher depending on your experience and what you bring to the table
Shift: Typical Day-shift M-F
Travel: No, job will be on-site with customer, high-valued client in life-sciences industry

As an RF Calibration Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform customer support activities to either in-house or on-site involving the calibration and certification of RF Test a Measurement equipment utilizing a variety of automated calibration systems. You will be the RF Technician responsible for providing calibration services for test equipment primarily in the field of RF and Electrical Metrology (Study of measurement and technology).

As an RF Calibration Technician, your primary responsibility will be to perform customer support activities to either in-house or on-site involving the calibration and certification of RF Test a Measurement equipment utilizing a variety of automated calibration systems. You will be the RF Technician responsible for providing calibration services for test equipment primarily in the field of RF and Electrical Metrology (Study of measurement and technology).
Position Requirements
- Military (PMEL/TMDE) certification OR two years of technical associates degree.
- Years of experience in a commercial or military laboratory.
- Experience in calibrating several disciplines of test and measurement equipment such as:
o Radio Frequency Microwave
o Temperature
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1 requirements.
- Knowledge of ANSI/NCSL Z-540-1 and ISO 9000 looks great and will help but is not a hard requirement.
- Experience using Calibration Lab Software such as: LabView, Met/Cal, SureCal, etc. looks great, but is not a hard requirement.
