Description*
- Fill out a pre-opening inspection checklist for the ride you’re assigned to work and make sure all functions of the ride are working properly
- Provide information about rules and regulations pertaining to the ride park
- Check all guests restraints and maintain constant vigilance while ride is in motion
- Operate the ride using the control panel and proper procedures
- Close and clean the ride at the end of the shift
Requirements
- Be able to pay attention to detail and customers at all times
- Have a flexible schedule based on seasonal demands
- Able to work outside during the summer
- Ability to communicate clearly and loudly with guests
- Capable of standing long periods of time

Mascot (*ages 14+)
Description: to perform as Summer the Sloth, Jenkinson’s South mascot, under the supervision of the Amusement Park managers
- Represent Jenkinson’s by walking around the Amusement Park and surrounding boardwalk areas during the summer season
- Greet, interact, dance, take photos with guests
- Maintain cleanliness of suit and other items associated with the costume
- No experience necessary
Requirements
- Available to work a flexible schedule. Weekends, nights and holidays will be required.
- Must be energetic, personable, enthusiastic, outgoing and friendly
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be dependable
- Must be comfortable working around children and other guests
- Must be able to work in a warm environment, be comfortable wearing a costume for prolonged periods of time
- Must not be claustrophobic
