A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Amount is seeking a Risk and Controls Associate. The right candidate for the role is experienced with technology risks and controls, building new programs and processes with a desire to collaborate across lines of business to improve client satisfaction and internal knowledge of the control library. Core responsibilities include project managing certain external audits, reviewing control processes, working with SMEs to document and evidence controls within a GRC tool, tracking critical remediation actions, and supporting enterprise risk management programs. WHAT WE’LL TRUST YOU TO DELIVER:
- Manage annual SOC and partner control audits, including preparation, engagement with auditors, and management of control owners throughout the audit
- Utilize a GRC platform to centralize and automate audit processes including documentation and maintenance of the control library
- Prepare reporting and documentation on the control library for both internal and client-facing communication
- Lead ERM processes to help teams identify and remediate control gaps
- Support tracking of critical remediation actions resulting from control audit findings and key risk indicators
- Build and maintain positive working relationships across lines of business in support of risk and control management processes
- Provide support as needed for team programs
WHAT YOU LIKELY BRING TO THE TABLE:
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a compliance, internal audit, or similar role
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Spreadsheets
- Inventive attitude with experience in building new programs and processes from the ground up
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understanding of GRC tools, familiarity with SOC or similar frameworks, JIRA, and data visualization software is a plus
