Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Skyline Steel LLC is seeking a Risk and Credit Manager to join our team in Rock Hill, SC.


Job responsibilities include:


  • Develops, recommends, and implements controls and cost-effective approaches to minimize the organization's risks
  • Ownership of division audits (ie. Internal audit, SOX compliance, financial and IT audits) including continued education to team members regarding audit compliance
  • Be a key business partner to his or her peers and other departments throughout the business in order to facilitate continuous improvement across the division.
  • Protecting the assets of the company and maximize cash flow through collection of accounts receivables
  • Improving cash management and minimizing bad debt expense
  • Responsible for monthly and quarterly close process for all of Accounts Receivable, including but not limited to reporting and timely cash applications
  • Leading and managing team of Credit Analysts and Cash Collections

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A combination of at least 2-3 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, Credit/Collections, Audit and/or Risk Management
  • Minimum of 1 year of Leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Commercial Construction experience
    CPA, CMA or MBA
    Experience in managing a business in Canada

    Experience in reviewing vendor and customer Terms and Conditions
