Position Title: RN Charge Nurse
***$10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS***
Status: Part-time to Full-time, various shifts, (4 on, 2 off, rotating schedule)
Position Summary: The primary function of the Charge Nurse is to insure effective, efficient comprehensive resident care is provided as prescribed by the physician and as required by the facility’s policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
1. Possess a current valid, RN license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs.
2. Ability to read, speak and understand English, follow directions and complete assigned responsibilities.
3. Support facility Administration, the facility’s philosophy of care, and the policies and procedures of the facility.
4. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all facility staff members.
5. Interest and awareness of changes and advancement in geriatric nursing and regulations.
6. Ability to demonstrate and supervise direct nursing care to improve standards of nursing.
7. Maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed, professional appearance.
8. Dependability.
9. Certified by California in IV therapy and blood withdrawal.
10. Must have current CPR certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43.00 - $50.00 per hour
